[eSlack] Instalar JRE

hola, fijense q quiero instalr el LimeWire pero me pide el JRE, baje un rpm 
pero a la hora de instalarlo me sale esto:

#rpm -i jre-1_5_0_11-linux-i586.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:

ay alguna forma de hacer q busque todas las dependencias y las instale o 
debo buscar una por una e instalarla.
por cierto estoy usando slackware 11.0 y kde 3.5 soy algo nuevo en linux y 
tambien agradeceria algun comentario acerca de si esta bien usar la distro 
11 o usar una anterior
