Buenas, como va?

Tengo un problemita. Es simplemente que veo peliculas en avi con mala
resolucion (se ven horribles).

Tengo Slack 12 y una placa ATI Radeon 9200 (lamentablemente es ati, he
visto que las nvidia son mas faciles...)
configure las x con xorgsetup , y, como veran en mi xorg.conf ve la
placa y parece que la instala bien, pero deja todas las opciones
comentadas, y no tengo idea que puede ser.
Los videos los veo con el kaffeine, y tengo los codecs ffmpeg, y
xvidcore. No descarto que sean los codecs, pero no encontre mucho mas.
Intente instalar los drivers propietarios de ati de la pagina, pero me
tira el siguiente error:

Entiendo el ingles, pero no el problema (perdon, los novatos somos asi).

Lo importante seria saber si el problema son los drivers o los codecs.


Por otro lado queria saber si a alguien le paso esto:

Termine de instalar mplayer y todas sus dependencias y cuando lo corro
vuelve a la pantalla de login (o sea, se desloguea).
Lo mas raro es que hace unos dias lo instale sin problemas, pero volvi
a instalar el slack entero.


Y por ultimo, una preguntita, estos dias estuve buscando como resolver
un problema, que se deslogueaba automaticamente despues de un cierto
tiempo de inactividad. Busque mucho y por fin encontre como
solucionarlo, pero fue dificil, parecia que a nadie le habia pasado
algo asi jamas. Mi pregunta es, el contenido de las imagenes para
bajar del slack 12 cambia diariamente, arreglando esos pequeños
detalles, y asi justo un par de pibes tienen la version que se
deslogue automaticamente? o es solo que a nadie le pasa? una mala
instalacion?
